“No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

Genesis 39:9

When Joseph was tempted, his first concern wasn't the consequences or even how others would be affected. He recognized that sin is ultimately an offense against a holy God. Joseph's love and loyalty belonged to the Lord above all else. While our choices certainly impact those around us, every sin is first a matter of our relationship with God. Remembering His holiness changes the way we view temptation—not as "small" or "harmless," but as something that grieves the One we love and are called to reflect.

This week, ask God to help you see Him in all His holiness and let your love for Him shape the choices you make each day.
