2025 Drop-Off Center

In addition to packing our own shoeboxes, New Life of Currituck is also a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child.  Every year, National Collection Week takes place the third week in November when more than 4,500 drop-off locations open across the country.  These drop-off locations accept packed shoeboxes from local churches, charities, donors, and families.  We then count the shoeboxes and, at the end of the week, transport them to regional drop-off location.  

New Life of Currituck is the only drop-off location for Currituck and Dare Counties.   See our flyer for drop-off dates and times for 2025.

Operation Christmas Child

New Life of Currituck is blessed to be a collection center here in Currituck County for Operation Christmas Child.  This ministry brings joy, small gifts, and, most importantly, the name of Jesus to children in need around the world!  We would love for you to join us as we make an impact in children’s lives across the globe!

New Life of Currituck & Operation Christmas Child
Since 2009, New Life has partnered with Operation Christmas Child.  In addition to being a local collection center, New Life of Currituck also collects individual items and donations and has a Shoebox Packing Party each year.  We are always in need of notebooks (we love the steno notebooks that fit perfectly!), crayons, colored pencils, pencils, pens, washcloths, and, of course, toys.  We collect items all year long, so feel free to drop donations off anytime.  
Our Goal in 2025
In 2024, New Life of Currituck exceeded our goal of packing 400 shoeboxes by packing 542 shoeboxes!  Glory to God!  In 2025, our goal is to pack 700 shoeboxes!  We collect items and donations year-round to help us meet our goal.  In addition, we collect donations to cover shipping costs for our 700 boxes, which is $10 per box.  If you would like to help us with our goal, there are many ways to do so!  See the list below for ways you can help!

2024 Recap

In 2024, as a church, New Life of Currituck not only met but exceeded our shoebox goal of 400 this year!  We packed a total of 542 shoeboxes!  Glory to God!
As a collection center, we collected 1079 shoeboxes from our area and delivered them to the central collection center in Elizabeth City.
