Thank you for joining us for our 20th Anniversary Celebration! It was an amazing time of praise, worship, celebration, and ministry!
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14
How it all started...
In 2001, Pastor Dan was working on various church plants in the Hampton Roads area, and he had a vision one night about a church plant in Currituck. Later that year, he was contacted by New Life of Great Bridge in Chesapeake, VA (now known as The Bridge Christian Fellowship) about the possibility of helping plant a church in Currituck, North Carolina.
On Sunday, March 17, 2002, in a small upstairs room, a group of eight people met, and the vision of New Life of Currituck was born. Together, there was a vision of lives being transformed by the power of God’s Holy Spirit through life-giving relationships, intimate worship, fervent prayer, and the equipping of people for ministry. On October 5, 2003, we launched our first public service.

Meet our Special Guests!
Pastor Steve Morgan
Pastor of The Bridge Christian Fellowship
Pastor Steve has pastored The Bridge Christian Fellowship (formerly New Life Great Bridge) in Chesapeake, Virginia, for its entire 27-year history. He has a huge heart for the local community and also enjoys time serving on the mission field. In 2001, Pastor Steve along with the congregation at The Bridge Christian Fellowship, asked Pastor Dan & Dorcas to help lead the New Life of Currituck Church plant. Pastor Stave and Katie have been friends and supporters of this ministry for these 20 years, and we look forward to hearing Pastor Steve share about the beginnings of New Life of Currituck.
Pastor Salvador Sanchez
Pastor of Way of Hope Church
Pastor Sanchez is Pastor of Way of Hope Church (Iglesia Camino de Esperanza) in Point Harbor, North Carolina. God led him to New Life of Currituck to share his vision for the Spanish Church that was meeting in homes in Currituck, which is when he met Pastor Dan. As they shared and prayed together, God showed them that New Life's Point Harbor location was a great fit for Way of Hope Church to begin meeting together. Pastor Sanchez's church has grown tremendously since then. More important is the bond the Lord has created between Pastor Sanchez and Pastor Dan along with the churches. We look forward to hearing Pastor Sanchez share with us about the blessing of sharing and living a multi-cultural life.
Dr. Bobby Hill
Pastor of Riverbend Church
Dr. Bobby Hill is Pastor of Riverbend Church in Suffolk, Virginia. He is also the Director of Vanguard Ministries. New Life of Currituck is a part of Vanguard Ministries. Fun fact - Dr. Bobby serves as Pastor Dan's Pastor. As a Pastor, Church planter, and encourager, it is a blessing to be in relationship with such a wonderful man of God. Dr. Bobby is a very relational and Biblical man and lives his life to serve others for over 50 years. We look forward to hearing from Dr. Bobby about how to carry out the vision as a "grown up."
