Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NASB) – “The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit.”
Not everything we walk through carries eternal weight. Some things are simply part of life on earth. But when we seek to serve the Lord and strive to do His will, God uses even ordinary seasons to refine us. The beginning of a matter can feel uncertain. Hard. Humbling. But by the end, we often see what God was producing all along: patience, maturity, deeper trust.
A patient spirit says, “God is working.” A humble spirit says, “God, I trust You.”
What feels small or frustrating today may be shaping something eternal in you.
Stay patient. Stay humble. God is growing you. A patient spirit trusts God’s process.
A humble spirit depends on God’s wisdom.
