Matthew 6:15 NASB1995 – “But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.”
This is a powerful, practical, and sometimes difficult scripture. At times, holding onto hurt or a grudge can feel easier than letting it go. But Jesus lovingly calls us to forgive, just as He has forgiven us. Forgiveness does not always happen instantly, but we can ask the Lord to help soften our hearts and give us the strength to release those burdens to Him. When we choose forgiveness, we make room for peace, healing, and freedom in our own lives as well.
