Proverbs 15:13 (NASB) – “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, But when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken."
Life can be tough. There are seasons when we feel worn down, discouraged, even broken. This verse reminds us how deeply our hearts affect us. But it also points to something hopeful: Joy begins on the inside. When we depend on God, even in hard seasons, He begins to steady our hearts. As we trust Him and remember that He is working in our situation, hope starts to rise again.
Ask God to help you see His blessings — even the small ones. A joyful heart doesn’t ignore hardship; it trusts that God is still at work.
May He restore your heart and bless you richly today.
