Pastor Jimmy Surprise!

As part of our Graduation Sunday celebration on May 31, we’d also like to honor a very special accomplishment within our New Life family! 🎓 Pastor Jimmy recently received his Master of Divinity degree from Regent University, and we would love to surprise and encourage him as a church family.


If you’d like to participate, you may bring a congratulatory card this Sunday and place it in the basket in the church office. (Blank cards are also available in the office if needed.) These cards and gifts will be presented to Pastor Jimmy during our May 31 service.  If you feel led, you can also contribute to a "love offering" for Pastor Jimmy by selecting that fund in the giving area on the envelope, app, or website.


Marlie is our only high school graduate this year (Thomas & Chelsea Castellow's daughter), and if you'd like to leave her a note or highlight a Bible verse for her, that is located on Cliff & Christine's table in the back of the sanctuary.  We will be celebrating her on 5/31 as well!

We hope you’ll join us for this special day as we celebrate our graduates, enjoy a fellowship meal after service, and spend time together with tent seating, bounce houses, volleyball, food, fellowship, and more. Bring a chair, a dish to share, and the whole family for a wonderful day together at New Life!


Mortgage Update (in case you missed it)...

Dear New Life Family,

We want to share an important financial update and also give praise for God’s continued faithfulness and provision.  Recently, our Finance Team became aware of an increase in the interest rate on our church mortgage. While we were surprised by this change, the Lord had already positioned our church in a place of financial stability and wisdom through careful stewardship over the years, as well as through the faithful giving, generosity, and servant hearts of our church family.

At the time of the increase, the remaining balance on our mortgage was approximately $67,000, and by God’s grace, we had also built our emergency fund/savings to approximately $67,000 through faithful giving and wise financial management.  After prayerful consideration, the Finance Team made the decision to pay off the mortgage in full rather than continue under the increased interest rate.

Praise God — our church is now mortgage free!

While we rejoice in this tremendous blessing and milestone, paying off the mortgage has temporarily depleted much of our emergency reserve fund and operating savings. In the months ahead, we will begin rebuilding those reserves using what would have been our monthly mortgage payments.

We ask that you continue praying for our leadership and Finance Team as we seek the Lord’s wisdom, guidance, and discernment for the future. This is an exciting season as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and look ahead to future growth and ministry opportunities, while also remaining committed to wise and careful stewardship.

If you feel led to support the rebuilding of our emergency reserve fund, we would be deeply grateful for your partnership and prayers.

If you feel led to give toward the rebuilding of our emergency reserve fund, you may do so through the offering boxes at the back of the sanctuary, the church app, website, or by scanning the green giving card. As always, all tithes and offerings first support the church’s regular monthly operating expenses, with remaining funds helping rebuild our emergency reserves.
