Day 4 (1-19-17) Love through worship part 2

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."  John 4:24

Thought: Maybe it is time to be a radical

We just scratched the surface of worship yesterday. But Jesus lets us know how to worship in this verse. You see it is hard for us to worship Jesus when we are tied to the natural. Many of us think, eat, and sleep natural, what we can see, what we can touch, are able to figure out, or what makes sense to us. Did you notice the first part of worship is “spirit”? This describes our mind, will and emotions, and where they are to search for Jesus. Our mind, will and emotions must step out of the natural and step into the spiritual for worship. Out of body experience you say? Well yes sort of, this is intentionally setting aside thoughts and worries of the day, and focus just on the relationship. This is called intimacy at its deepest level. Jesus already knows your cares and worries. The coolest part of this is that when you set aside those cares and worries in worship, you then have the capacity to hear answers and see direction for overcoming those thoughts and worries in the natural. While this is a lifelong process, we need to start somewhere, so why not start now? We do not get it right all the time, but the more we seek to worship in this way, we find the truth through Christ and it get easier the longer we seek the Worship Jesus Christ.
